ahhh school is starting soon and next week marks the end of my super long holiday
anyway, i would like to do a summary of key things that happened during my SEP and i will try to do it in order of merit
- reaching belgium and being greeted by a dobby-looking chinaman and sharing a house with a hell lotta chinamen for about a week.
- Doing a massive cleanup of our apartment once all the chinamen left
- having our electricity and gas cut off for almost a month and thus purposely travelling around just to get a shower! our shower woes also include having to bathe old school style by boiling water and using a pail to pour water!
- Chinese new year fell on my birthday and thankfully it marked the end of our electricity problems that allowed us to boil water, but unfortunately the gas didnt come back.
- shit i can only remember the bad things. let me think of a good thing.. oh yes, i bought my guitar in belgium around CNY period. this was the start of the pimpin’!
- i really enjoyed most of the dollarbeer trio’s travelling around together, especially to chatel which involved a 15hr bus ride i think. awesome skiing
- Travelling to berlin with darren’s friends val and amos (who did not know we were neighbours)
- easter break! my mom came over and i had to hide all my contraband items such as my shisha bong. which was kinda redundant now since she saw it when i brought it home to singapore =X
- Hanging out with my grandfather’s old boss in amsterdam was pretty cool. managed to get a free tour by a real local.
- trip to london and liverpool. friggin awesome..and london again with my extended family.. woah i love london man. shopping and strip clubs. haha!
- Meeting new friends was a definite highligh of the entire SEP, so we now have new friends from belgium, thailand, canada, afghanistan, greece, bulgaria and romania.. just to name a few
- final eurotrip was pretty awesome although towards the end i just wanted to go back to singapore already!
- anyway, here’s a quick shoutout to Jon and Darren, thanks for making our SEP so memorable! I’m sure we’ll have lotsa stories to talk about for a very long time…
